Buttershaw White Star open the defence of their title with a home match against Queensbury as the new Bradford Sunday Alliance League season kicks off this weekend.
The opening action is somewhat condensed, although there is a virtually full programme in the top two divisions together with one match each in Division 1B and 2B.
White Star will be keen to start on a positive note in the Premier Division – as will the two promoted clubs in their first taste of top-flight action.
But both face tricky away fixtures this weekend, with Keighley -based Sandy Lane visiting Westwood Park and Thornton United at Mill Lane.
Wyke Wanderers have Baildon Trinity Athletic as visitors and Dudley Hill Rangers host Bolton Woods .
Relegated Ventus Sports’ first match in Division One is at promoted Buttershaw Celtic and Stanningley Albion’s debut in the section is away to Oakworth Juniors.
Cuedos Rangers, fresh from their triumph in the Bradford Summer Cup pre-season tournament, have Peel Park as visitors.
There is also a full programme of Premier and Division One fixtures next Thursday.
District Cup winners West Bowling will take on Thornton in their seasonal bow, while Mill Lane face Bradford Skip Hire FC (aka Relay Recruitment Rovers).
The stand-out midweek Division One game is the visit of Tyersal to Oakenshaw .
The first full programme of fixtures will be a week on Sunday.
