Leeds United have included Robbie Rogers in their squad for the first time tonight for their vital npower Championship clash at home to Birmingham tomorrow night.
However, the American international, who has been signed from Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew, may have to wait for his debut.
United boss Simon Grayson said: “Robbie was in America last week sorting his visa so he didn’t train with us until the back end of the week.
“He’s been working over the weekend but tonight might just come too soon for him after the week he’s had.”
Grayson will only be missing long-term injury victims Davide Somma and Patrick Kisnorbo for tomorrow's clash of play-off hopefuls.
As for deadline-day signings, Grayson said: “It may be that we add to the squad before the game but, due to the signing deadline, any new players wouldn’t be available anyway.”
