Ongoing weather problems means yet another change to fixtures involving West Riding County Amateur League clubs on Saturday.

The Premier Division Cup quarter-finals that should have taken place this weekend have now been put back until the end of February.

This is due to three of the teams still being involved in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.

Tyersal, who were knocked off top spot of the Premier Division last weekend, are without a game but will remain second irrespective of any other results. They are six points clear of Golcar United but just five points then separate the third-placed Huddersfield side and Marsden in eighth.

And with Golcar and Brighouse Town attempting to play their four-times postponed Challenge Cup tie, there will be the opportunity for some sides to close in on the leaders. Campion, who are sixth, visit lowly Hall Green United and, having lost 3-1 in the reverse fixture in November, will be keen to avoid another setback.

Steeton, who are two points adrift of Campion, host fourth-placed Bay Athletic, who have games in hand as they pursue a record fifth consecutive championship.

Bottom two sides Littletown and Wibsey meet at Beck Lane in Heckmondwike.

In Division One, second-placed Salts – who thrashed rock-bottom Halifax Irish 6-0 in early December – travel for the return fixture as they look to keep up their bid for promotion.

Leaders Lepton Highlanders, who have gone 16 league games without being beaten, visit Ventus/Yeadon Celtic.

Campion Reserves, who missed out on a last-four place to Salts in the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup last week, have another chance to reach a semi-final when they host Ovenden West Riding Reserves in the Combined Division Two/Three Cup.

Tyersal Reserves and Albion Sports meet in the same competition.
