Silsden will be hoping to play only their second game of 2012 on Saturday – on the last weekend of January!
An unfortunate run has seen the Cobbydalers’ last three scheduled North West Counties League fixtures all postponed, although that means they can boast a 100 per cent record this year.
After winning 4-0 at Padiham on January 2, Silsden have seen one home Premier Division game and two away falling foul of the weather.
This weekend’s visitors are Stone Dominoes, who could overhaul the 16th-placed Cobbydalers with a win. But despite only being one point worse off, the Staffordshire outfit have played three games more.
On a more positive note, if Silsden were to win by a three-goal margin they would be back in the black in the goal difference column.
Due to their extended inactivity, Cobbydalers boss Chris Reape has no injuries to consider so has the luxury of selecting from a full-strength squad.
