There was a thriller at the top of Bradford Sunday Alliance League Division 1A when leaders Buttershaw Celtic and second-placed Victoria Rangers met.

Honours were even at the end after Michael Caine had put Buttershaw in front after a goalless first period.

Nicky Walker equalised for the visitors on the hour and then moved in front before James Crossland pulled the leaders level.

Five minutes from the end, John Place put the visitors in front and it looked like the end of the hosts' unbeaten record but, in the fifth minute of added time, Caine struck his second goal of the match to ensure that, for the second time this season, the teams shared the points.

Grass Greener United opened up a gap at the top of Division 3B hitting eight goals past Park, and Paul Tarbotton bagged four for the leaders.

Hare and Hounds, in second place, shared the points with Little Horton Athletic.

Eccleshill Punjab recorded their second victory of the season with a two-goal triumph over Queens Hotel, who needed the points to close the gap at the top of Division Four.
