Tyersal stunned DIVISION ONE leaders Thornton United as they came from behind to win their Bradford Sunday Alliance League clash 2-1.

Jamie Douglas edged Thornton in front early in the second half but debutant Ian Russell equalised for the hosts with 15 minutes to go.

Anthony Busfield then fired home a late winner from long range with a stunning free-kick.

Peel Park climbed to second place after a 3-3 draw at Cuedos Rangers, with Matthew Hannan scoring twice for the visitors and Baggy Halliday doing the same for the hosts.

The point enabled Park to leapfrog Oakenshaw, who lost 7-5 at White Eagles.

Andy Lockhart scored four times for the home side and there was also a terrific performance by two-goal man of the match Tate Williams.

Bottom side Allerton were three goals ahead at half-time but fellow strugglers Manningham hit back to win 4-3 thanks to Kamran Khan’s hat-trick.

One PREMIER DIVISION match saw Bolton Woods beat bottom side Ventus Sports 5-1, which included two goals by man of the match Dave Wright.
