Silsden had a wasted journey last weekend, so they go into Saturday's tough trip to second-placed Ramsbottom United still unbeaten in 2012 in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
The Cobbydalers have only played one game so far this year.
They beat Padiham 4-0 on Monday, January 2 and they have had one home game and last week’s away game at AFC Liverpool called off since.
This weekend's hosts are poised to go top as they trail current leaders Bootle by just one point with two games in hand on the Merseyside outfit.
There is no fear of Ramsbottom taking the visit of the Cobbydalers lightly, however, as they are desperately trying to stay in front of third-placed Barnoldswick Town, who have played three games fewer than their Bury-based rivals and are just five points behind.
Silsden are not looking over their shoulders, despite being sixth from bottom.
They are 13 points above the drop zone so should be safe.
