City today confirmed their interest in Stevenage winger Jennison Myrie-Williams.
But boss Graham Westley's move to Preston could mean the player, who was not in his plans, may no longer be available.
The Bantams are among a clutch of clubs with an eye on the 23-year-old, who has recently returned to Broadhall Way from a loan spell at Port Vale.
Phil Parkinson said: "He is a player we've been monitoring. We have been speaking to Stevenage but everything is on hold with the change of manager."
