If Guiseley are to pocket another £3,750 prize-money from this season's competition, they will have to do it the hard way after being drawn against Gateshead, rivals in the UniBond Premier Divi-sion.
At least it is the Geordies who have to make the journey after the second qualifying-round handed Neil Parsley's men a home tie.
Their first excursion was also at home against a divisional rival in Mossley but Parsley, after guiding his side to a 5-1 victory over Frickley in midweek, said: "We will go into tomorrow's game with confidence sky high.
"This is a break from league action, a chance to progress on another front, but it will be no less difficult because we have already beaten Gateshead in the UniBond Premier this term.
"That was up at their place and it was only 1-0. Both sides could have a few changes since then so we can't read anything into it. If we stay solid and keep our shape then we should do okay.
"You cannot take anything for granted as no-one has a given right to be in the next round and I will be reminding the players of that before the game."
Recent signing Andy Shields is still waiting to make his debut following a bout of gastroenteritis that prevented him playing in the last two games, or even training before yesterday.
Chris Clarke is a doubt after limping out of Tuesday's win over Frickley with a pulled thigh muscle, although his replacement Scott Jackson came off the bench to net twice in the big victory.
