Farsley face a tricky first FA Cup tie of the season when struggling UniBond Division One outfit Wakefield visit Throstle Nest tomorrow in the second qualifying round of the competition.

The visitors have yet to win a point in their league this season after nine straight defeats but won through the opening round of the FA Cup.

Celts boss Lee Sinnott has seen it all before and he will have warned his troops about complacency.

Being a perfectionist, he will also be aiming to reach the first-round proper as a manager. He went all the way to a Wembley final as a player and was on the bench when Watford took on Everton.

"If you look at this game, it has banana skin written all over it and is set up for us to take a fall," said Sinnott.

"They have had no wins in the league but this is different as it is a local derby and cup football. Either one of those would have complicated a prediction; both make it impossible to call.

"Cup ties and derbies are great levellers and there is nothing to say Wakefield won't go out there tomorrow, give 100 per cent and turn us over.

"We need to be right and I will be putting that across to the players. Theoretically we should win - but football isn't about theory."

After conceding just one goal in their last four games, which have earned the Celts eight points from a possible 12 in the Conference North, Sinnott can name an unchanged squad and confidence is obviously high.
