New signing Andy Shields did not make his expected debut on Saturday because of a virus he picked up just before the weekend but he is in line to take a belated bow tonight at Nethermoor.
Having missed out on the squad that travelled to Mossley he should wear the blue and white for the first time at his new home.
Frickley Athletic are the visitors in the UniBond Premier and former Farsley Celtic midfielder Shields is looking forward to the West Yorkshire derby.
"Andy was eager to make his Guiseley debut at the weekend and I was just as keen to get him involved after signing him," said Guiseley manager Neil Parsley.
"Unfortunately, he was laid low with a stomach bug but he should be fine for tonight. We could have a couple of other players out though. Simon Sturdy pulled a muscle in his chest and Gav Knight took a bang on his hip.
"I would say the chances for both are no better than 50/50 for tonight but we will give them as long as possible. They are concerns as I look to formulate the final 14 but they have been a big part of our good start and I would like them available."
Guiseley are unbeaten in all competitions since the second game of the season and are currently fifth in the table, occupying the last play-off place, but they will hope to improve on that in the coming months.
