West Horton were also successful on their travels with Ebad Rashid and Syeed Ali netting in a 2-1 win at Steeton Reserves, who had William Lee on target. Tyersal Reserves held a 2-0 half-time advantage at home to Golcar United Reserves but had to settle for a point from a 3-3 draw.

* Defending WEST RIDING COUNTY FA CHALLENGE CUP champions Bay Athletic fell at the second hurdle in this season’s competition as they lost 3-1 at Huddersfield neighbours Golcar United.
Fellow West Riding County Amateur League outfit Albion Sports bowed out of the CHALLENGE TROPHY, for lower-ranked clubs, 3-0 at Bardsey Reserves in their delayed third-round tie.
