Cammell Laird 0, Farsley AFC 3
Farsley picked up a much-needed three points from their trip to the south bank of the Mersey but remain tenth in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table despite their victory.
The only goal of the first half came when Farsley striker Gareth Grant ghosted into the area and stroked the ball past the home keeper.
The relegation-threatened hosts made things even more difficult for themselves when they had a man sent off soon after the interval. Just three minutes into the second half, Chay Dysart was shown a straight red card after kicking out at Dominic Krief.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 54th minute when a testing cross from Duncan Williams presented Adam Muller with a tap-in.
Williams turned from provider to scorer 12 minutes from time when he picked up a pass from Joe Mitchell and rounded the home keeper to slot in.
Farsley had won just once away from home in the league before Saturday, a 5-2 victory at Warrington Town back in August.
Their second win on the road should lift spirits ahead of back-to-back home games against Harrogate Railway on Tuesday and Witton Albion next weekend.
