Thackley put Saturday’s heavy home defeat behind them as they came from a goal down to beat Hall Road Rangers 2-1 at Dennyfield last night.
The win moved Thackley back up three places to fifth in the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division table, just seven points off the summit.
The visitors began well and hit the bar in the goalless first half but the match hinged on a five-minute spell just after the half-hour mark.
Martin Thacker set Mark Griffin up to open the scoring for the visitors but the Dennyboys soon hit back.
Nicky Mathews came off the bench in the 65th minute and just a minute later his corner was headed home by Rob Morgan. Matthews then wrapped up the win when he fired in from 15 yards another minute later.
