Oakwell went closest to causing an upset in the SONDER HEATING CUP as they pushed higher-ranked Spen Valley League visitors TVR United all the way before missing out 3-2.
TVR led just 2-1 at the interval and the second half was an equally tight affair, before goals by Mohammed Ismeed, Abid Khan and Aif Iqbal outweighed those of Ashley Barnes and Tom Yarnold.

Premier Division high-fliers Bradford enjoyed a 7-0 romp against Division One opponents Thornhill United Seniors B.
Azir Gulzar led the surge with a hat-trick, Gurpal Bhambra added two goals and the others came from John Singh and Gurdip Bhambra.
Premier Division bottom side were edged out 2-1 by Ravensthorpe Rangers, with Brad Jackson’s goal outweighed by Fannie and Fessy.
Howden Clough beat Marsh 3-2 in an all Division One battle as Joe Armitage (2) and Lee Hepinstall outscored Loz Balmforth and Andrew Shingleton.
The tie between BD3 United Res and Mount Athletic was abandoned with ten minutes remaining when the scores were locked at 4-4.
Other scheduled ties were postponed due to clubs still being involved in the County Trophy.
Just two league matches were played, both in DIVISION ONE, with Inter Batley’s first win of the season lifting them off the foot of the table at the expense of opponents Ravenswharfe Hotel.
It finished 3-1 as Arshad Navsarka (2) and Sawban Dadhiwala outscored Dave Hodgson.
A mid-table contest saw Norfolk hit back from missing a penalty while trailing 1-0 to beat Savile United 2-1 with late goals from Imran Farouq and Ilyas Lunat.
