Thackley suffered a heavy defeat at Dennyfield as visitors Scarborough Athletic rattled in five without reply.
The Seadogs got off to the best possible start when former Farsley man Curtis Bernard scored after just 40 seconds.
Two more followed in quick succession as Joe Naylor and Ryan Blot netted before the game was 14 minutes old.
The Dennyboys did not create anything in the first half hour and when they did Paul Whiteley and Ben Hardy sent in tame shots.
On the stroke of half-time, Naylor converted a corner with a header to make it 4-0.
Thackley were much improved after Vince Brockie’s half-time words but they could not stop the Seadogs going five up minutes from time when Blot fired in a good shot from the edge of the area.
