Brighouse Town edged a five-goal thriller at the Dual Seal Stadium to leapfrog visitors Parkgate and go fifth in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
The first half was even and goalless but the fireworks started after the break with goals rocketing in at both ends.
Town took the lead just six minutes into the second half through Danny Naidole but the visitors hit back minutes later when Nathan Forbes-Swindles equalised.
Town went back in front when Anthony Haigh scored in the 66th minute but Forbes-Swindles also cancelled that strike out. The winner came three minutes from time and it was Naidole who claimed his brace to bag the three points.
Town’s vice chairman Ray McLoughlin said: “It was a fantastic game and I thought Parkgate were excellent.
“We got one, they got one – it was one of those games. It wasn’t just the goals because the whole game was end to end.
“I felt a bit sorry for them at the final whistle really because it was a game no one deserved to lose but we’re obviously delighted with the three points.”
