Patrick Kisnorbo is favourite to replace Darren O’Dea in the centre of the Leeds United defence for tonight’s home match against Blackpool.
The Republic of Ireland international was taken off at half-time in the 1-1 draw against Cardiff on Sunday suffering with dizziness and blurred vision after taking a knock on the head.
Kisnorbo replaced O’Dea at Elland Road and looks set to start alongside Tom Lees tonight, with Andy O’Brien, Leigh Bromby and Alex Bruce also in the frame.
Manager Simon Grayson said: “Losing Darren is disappointing because he has done really well over these past few weeks and formed a good partnership with Tom Lees.
“But head injuries are something you have to take very seriously so he won’t play tonight and he will be a doubt for Sunday.”
