TVR United and BD3 United retained their unbeaten Spen Valley League records in contrasting styles at the top of the PREMIER DIVISION.

Leaders TVR ran out comfortable 4-0 winners after a goalless first half at Thornhill United Seniors thanks to two Abid Khan goals and one each from Ibdal Mahoob and Mohammed Ismaeel.

But BD3 only edged out visiting Bradford by the odd goal in seven as Toseef Arshad (2), Ishaq Hussain and Arrow Sobies outscored Gurdip Bhamber, Azir Sulzar and John Slingh.

Third-placed Jardy Boys also had a close encounter at home to second-bottom Mount Athletic, winning 3-2 thanks to goals by Rob Ives, Judd Ledgard and Jason Campbell.

West Bradford Spartans beat higher-placed Girlington 3-2 with goals from Russ Barraclough (2) and Bobby Canning.

But rock-bottom Quarry are still looking for their first point after a 4-1 home defeat to Ravensthorpe Rangers, Brad Jackson netting the consolation.

Howden Clough and Vision remain undefeated in DIVISION ONE after drawing their top-of-the-table clash 1-1.

Leaders Vision supplied both goals after a scoreless first half, with Chris Lever’s strike cancelled out by an own goal as Howden Clough survived playing the last 40 minutes with ten men after a red card.

Oakwell took advantage of this result to move second after a 5-0 win at Savile United, with goals coming from Aiden Bennett, Adam Williams, Ashley Barnes, Mathew Parkinson and Thomas Yarnold.

ALC climbed to fourth with a 6-0 romp at Ravenswharfe Hotel. Nazzran Khan and Ashley Dutton scored twice apiece, backed up by Scott Morrison and Adam Wilson.
