Bamber Bridge 1 Bradford Park Avenue 1
Bradford Park Avenue bounced back from Saturday's first home defeat of the season to claim a point on their travels at Bamber Bridge in last night's UniBond Division One Roses clash.
In a game of few chances, the result hinged on two decisions by the referee, who awarded spot-kicks to both sides.
Avenue were first to profit midway through the first half when Lee Morris was brought down in the area. Strike partner Neil Ross, back in the side after serving a three-match suspension, tucked the penalty away.
In the second minute of time added on at the end of the first half, Avenue keeper Piotr Skiba raced off his line after calling for a ball.
In doing so, he committed a foul and conceded a penalty which Bridge's Alex Porter netted.
