Everton tonight revealed their delight at signing the deal for Bradford City starlet George Green.
As exclusively revealed in the Telegraph & Argus, the 15-year-old from Dewsbury is set to move to Goodison in a package that will net the Bantams up to £2m.
Green will become a full-time part of Everton’s youth set-up next summer and academy director Alan Irvine is looking forward to nurturing the player.
Irvine said: "George is a young player who was attracting interest from a number of clubs.
"He has got good potential but at the moment that’s all it is. He has got a lot of work to do and he knows that.
"We're happy to have him and we’re looking forward to working with him here at the academy."
