There was a shortened programme of matches in the Spen Valley League, due to the West Riding County FA Trophy.

In the Premier Division, Girlington beat Mount 7-3, Husman Hussain scoring a brilliant hat-trick, Moh Ozhair (2), Sohail Fiaz and Matisf Shehzad completing the tally.

Jardy Boys were 2-0 down at half-time but rallied in the second half to win 4-2 against Bradford, Jason Campbell scoring two goals and Ben McCann and Rob Ives one each.

TVR beat Ravensthorpe Rangers 6-2 after drawing 1-1 at half-time, Asif Iqbal scored a hat-trick, Abid Khan (2) and Nassar Hussain being the other scorers, Bob and Zahid replying.

In Division One, Vision defeated Ravenswharfe Hotel 7-0 after leading 2-0 at half-time. Michael Roebuck (2), Chris Lever, Joe Petch, Mathew Whiteman, Lewis Clayburn and Mathew Knott being the marksmen.

Thornhill Senior B lost 5-1 to ALC after they were level 1-1 at the interval. Mark Lofthouse scored for Thornhill, Ryan Mitchell (3), Karl Hall and Philip Toule being on target for ALC.

Marsh beat Bradford All Stars 3-0, thanks to goals from Andrew Milner, James Parkin and Josh Wood.

Howden Clough beat Inter Batley 2-1 after leading 2-0 at half-time. They played the last 15 minutes with ten men when one of their players had to leave the field feeling ill.

Ash Falas and Luke Adams scored one goal each but Inter Batley’s keeper had a brilliant game, keeping the margin tight. Suleman Variala scored for Inter.

Oakwell beat Norfolk 5-0, leading 2-0 at half-time. Yom Yarnold scored two goals, the others coming from Radal Siudak, A McDaid and Luke Newsome.
