Farsley go in search of the three point maximum that would take their season total in the Evo-Stik Division One North to 20 this weekend.
Neil Parsley’s men will have to be on top of their game in the roses clash at home to Salford City but will be buoyant after their last run out. Farsley bounced back from a 2-1 defeat in the league at struggling Clitheroe with a 1-0 victory over Durham City in the second round of the League Cup.
The Throstle Nest side have been inconsistent of late in the league, having won their last two home games but losing away immediately after both victories. They are still fifth going into tomorrow’s clash with tenth-placed Salford, who are just four points behind their hosts.
Gareth Grant diverted a shot into the net in the first minute and that was enough to win their cup tie against Durham but he and substitute Dave Stead wasted good chances later. Midfielder Dominic Krief returned to the starting line-up and played a full 90 minutes.
Krief, Luke Gibson, who made a cameo appearance from the bench, and Chris Kamara are all expected to be in tomorrow’s squad. Kamara has missed the last two games with illness.
