Farsley have the chance to exact some swift revenge tomorrow night but even if they are successful it will not aid their league position.
Neil Parsley’s men lost at struggling Clitheroe in Evo-Stik Division One North at the weekend, which was their second defeat in their last three league games, stalling their progress.
The other defeat in that sequence was at Durham City.
The north easterners make the journey to Throstle Nest tomorrow evening but it is for a Doodson Sports Cup Evo-Stik League Cup first-round tie.
Parsley will be expecting defender Chris Kamara back after he missed the weekend due to illness, and winger Luke Gibson may be near to a comeback after playing for the reserves at the weekend.
