Midweek fixtures are easing off for non-league clubs but there are still three local semi-professional outfits in action tonight, despite the Conference North putting back their full list.
Farsley Celtic should have hosted Worksop Town this evening but the game has now been shelved until March next year.
It seems the Football Association's fixture computer should have handed full Conference clubs games this midweek but not North and South Divisions.
That leaves Bradford Park Avenue as the highest-ranking club with a game tonight but they are on the road for their UniBond Division One clash with Bamber Bridge.
The Preston outfit will fancy their chances after Avenue's poor showing at the weekend.
Only former Bantams star Neil Redfearn, Tom Greaves and Lee Morris, the on loan striker who scored Bradford's goal in their 3-1 home defeat to Eastwood Town, could hold their heads up.
"We missed Gary Shaw at the centre of our defence and he will not be available again and that has a knock-on effect," said Avenue manager Phil Sharpe.
"Redders had to step back into a centre-back role. He is capable of that but it robs us of him in midfield where he can really make the team tick.
"We signed Steve Robinson from Frickley Athletic and he made his debut against Eastwood but we have to bring in another centre half.
"Not in time for tonight but you will see a different attitude from the players for this game. Saturday was a blip."
