Eccleshill United will look to bounce back from a midweek defeat in the league when they host Flixton.

Manager Steve Watson is confident but he does admit it is a massive game for the club.

It represents an opportunity to progress to the second qualifying round and to bank some much-needed cash from the prize money on offer.

"The pressure is off in the league and this gives the team a chance to go for a bit of FA Cup glory," said Watson.

"The club can benefit if we win as there is always room for a bit of a windfall bonus.

"As a manager, I should have been dejected on Tuesday after the 2-1 defeat at Long Eaton but it was hard to be down after the effort the lads put in. It was the best we had played all season.

"I told them after the game that I had never seen such a one-sided game and to think we got nothing from it was unbelievable. We bombarded them but it just wouldn't go into the net.

"Ben Hardy ripped them to pieces and their manager jokingly asked if I would take him off because he was embarrassing their lads.

"If we play like that over the next few weeks, we could have a run in the FA Cup and still keep up with the others in the league."
