Guiseley join in the FA Cup tomorrow and their first qualifying round opponents are UniBond Premier Division rivals Mossley.
In typical football irony, the first league meeting between the pair is at Mossley next week. However, Guiseley have home advantage for the cup tie.
"There's two ways of looking at it - the banana-skin tie against a team from a lower league, or to play someone you have to be on your mettle to beat," said Guiseley boss Neil Parsley.
"I am not too concerned that we have drawn a club from our own division and, if we are at our best, we will win.
"I've done my homework: I went over to watch Mossley against Matlock on Wednesday.
"We've lost one of our eight league games, and unbeaten in the last six, so we shouldn't fear a divisional rival.
"It would be nice to get a win to progress in the cup - and gain a psychological edge ahead of the league clash."
Full back Nathan Hay came off five minutes into Monday's 1-0 victory at Gateshead with a pulled hamstring and is not ready to return. Andy Wright limped off after 20 minutes but is included in the squad.
Parsley explained: "Wrighty had a blackened toe nail from Saturday's 1-1 draw against Hednesford but he declared himself fit for Monday. It backfired on him a lot; he was struggling in the warm-up."
