Scarborough 0 Farsley Celtic 0
Scarborough came close to winning a tight contest with a shot five minutes from time that came back off the woodwork - but it would have been unjust if they had.
Farsley played their full part in a game that was not a great spectacle and one that was subjected to a major delay.
Even Conference North clubs cannot guarantee their transport will not succumb to a problem. "It was not the best preparation, as the bus had a flat tyre on the way over and the last 60 yards of skidding were a bit nervy," said Celts boss Lee Sinnott.
"All things considered, I think it was a good result. We didn't arrive until 8pm and by 20 past we were kicking off. We didn't do enough to win the game - but then neither did they.
"From two very tricky away games on the trot we have gained four points, so that is good, and both were clean sheets.
"We may have wasted a couple of chances last night but there were positives."
