Farsley AFC were quick off the mark with their presentation evening as they held it immediately after their final game of the season.

It followed an afternoon of celebration on the pitch as Neil Parsley’s men coasted to a 3-1 win over Lincoln Moorlands Railway at The Nest.

The result was academic because Farsley had the Kool Sport Northern Counties East League Premier Division title in the bag.

Centre back Mark Jackson, one of Parsley’s two assistants, picked up the supporters club’s player of the season award for the second time.

Simeon Bambrook, the other assistant-player of the triumvate of power, was third and Andy Cooper second.

Tom Jackson won the vote of his peers by becoming the players’ player of the season. The young defender scored the goal that kick-started the remarkable 14- game unbeaten run that helped Farsley seal the championship.

Former Bradford City striker Gareth Grant was named managers' player of the season after Parsley, Jackson and Bambrook had got their heads together.

The goal of the season was voted as being a Ben Jones strike against Arnold Town in February, one of 34 the former Bantams youth plundered in the campaign.
