The back injury which caused Robert Snodgrass to miss Leeds United’s final match of the season at QPR has kept him out of Scotland’s squad.
However, Leeds striker Ross McCormack has been recalled by the Scots for the Carling Nations Cup games against Wales on May 25 and the Republic of Ireland four days later.
Glasgow-born McCormack, 25, has spent a frustrating first season at Elland Road, making only six starts, though he scored in the final two games of the season, against Burnley and QPR.
He has five Scotland caps but his last call-up was in 2009 when he was with Cardiff City.
