Two more Damien Melvin goals helped West Bowling to a 4-0 win at relegated Oakenshaw as they clinched the BRADFORD SUNDAY ALLIANCE LEAGUE title for the second successive season.
Darren Storey netted the only goal of a scrappy first half but the second was one-way traffic as the defending Premier Division champions hit top form.
Chris Harvey converted a cross from Jack Murphy in between Melvin’s double, which took his tally to 47 goals for the season.
It completed a title treble for Bowling as they added to League Cup and West Riding County Sunday Cup successes.
Sandy Lane also made it a hat-trick as they beat fellow Sunday Alliance League team Oakworth Juniors 5-3 after extra-time in the KEIGHLEY & DISTRICT SUNDAY CUP final at Cougar Park.
The Intermediate Cup and Division 1B champions fell behind to an Andy King goal but quickly moved ahead as Danny Hook scored twice.
Joe Brady restored parity and although Lane moved 3-2 up through Kristian Hargreaves, Division One side Oakworth forced extra-time when Richard Pickles struck in injury time after a goalmouth scramble.
Sheer persistence from Stuart Cotterill gave Lane the edge in the additional period, before Hargreaves’ second of the game finally sealed the victory.
