Chairman Ken Bates has become the controlling shareholder of Leeds United after completing the purchase of Switzerland-based firm FSF Limited for an undisclosed sum.
The club have announced that FSF Limited is now owned by Outro Limited, which is wholly owned by Bates. United say they hope this will end speculation surrounding the club’s ownership.
The revised details have been submitted to the Football Association, the Football League and the Premier League and the club say the Football League and the Premier League have confirmed that the new ownership structure satisfies their regulations.
The board say they do not anticipate any issues in securing the FA’s approval “in due course”.
