Joe Colbeck is loving the extra responsibility as one of Hereford’s “main men”.
The former City winger has earned a regular place in the Bulls line-up since making the move from Oldham last summer.
As he prepares to face his first club, Colbeck believes the burden of expectation has improved him as a player.
He said: “Coming here has been a fresh start for me. The season has not panned out how we would like but it’s been good personally.
“I’m playing every game and like to think I’m one of the main men in the team. I’ve always been a confidence player and that sort of responsibility brings out the best in me.”
With Hereford desperate for a positive result to secure their own safety, Colbeck would love to deliver against the Bantams.
