Are you the best four-ball in the area?
The Airedale Rosebowl is a new tourmanent for local golf club members and is to be held at Keighley Golf Club on Sunday, June 26.
Entries are invited for fourballs to enter this team event.
Entry requirements stipulate a maximum handicap of 24 for gents and 30 for ladies and all handicaps have to be active at the time of entering the tournament.
Keighley captain Antony Chaplain said: “To add an element of drama we are splitting the teams into two betterballs, whose combined stableford scores will make up the team total.
“We will be running both a Ladies and a Gents competition on the same day so everyone has the chance to prove themselves as one of the top two teams in the Aire Valley and surrounding areas.”
Applications should be made to Andrew Rhodes, the PGA Professional at Keighley, by telephoning the club on 01535-604778 option two. The cost is £50 for a team of four.
