Farsley AFC go in search of the second part of what could be a remarkable treble tomorrow night as they look to add the Kool Sport Northern Counties East League's President’s Cup to the Premier Division crown they picked up at the weekend after their final league game.
Neil Parsley’s men will be wary of a potential backlash from Tadcaster Albion, though, as they were one of the four clubs that pushed Farsley all the way in the title race.
Albion also have home advantage following a coin toss on the centre circle by the two chairmen before the league meeting earlier this month at Tadcaster - a game Farsley won 4-3 to secure the championship.
Following Saturday’s 3-1 win in the last game of the league campaign, Parsley said: “That is part one put to bed and the players have been allowed to go out for a few beers but they are expected to be as professional over the next two games as they have been throughout the year.
“It will be difficult but who would bet against this group of players landing all three? I certainly wouldn’t.”
Farsley will contest the League Cup final against Winterton Rangers on Bank Holiday Monday.
