Wath Brow Hornets 40, Bradford Dudley Hill 10
Bradford Dudley Hill have been relegated from the National Conference League Premier Division following their energy-sapping defeat at Wath Brow Hornets tonight.
The scheduled kick off was delayed due to traffic volume, and when Hill took the field they soon fell 12-0 behind to a Cumbrian side intent on making the top-six play-offs.
A touchdown from hooker Nathan Kitson, which was converted by scrum half Mick Hill, gave the Bradford side a glimmer of hope but when wingman Jamie Brentley was carried off on a stretcher, the task proved a step too far.
The Hornets made further inroads in a game strewn with mistakes, and full back Simon Sewell ensured that the Parry Laners at least reached double figures with a late effort.
