In-form Salts must maintain the tempo if they are to ensure a return to the top flight of the West Riding County Amateur League.

Salts have won their last three games to move top of Division One but on Saturday face a tough trip to Heckmondwike Town, who are as anxious for points at the other end of the table to retain their status.

Second-placed Ventus/Yeadon Celtic, who take on Salts in the last game of the season, can improve their own promotion ambitions and spike those of fourth-placed hosts Littletown this weekend.

Long-time title favourites Emley, who have slipped to third after taking just one point from their last three games, entertain Dudley Hill Rangers tomorrow night.

Albion Sports moved to within a point of Premier Division leaders Bay Athletic with a 4-1 win over bottom side Tingley Athletic yesterday.

Next up for Albion, who have played two games more than the leaders, is a visit to lowly Hall Green United this weekend, while Bay host Huddersfield neighbours Marsden.

Campion, who have strung together six consecutive victories to move up to third, tackle Hunsworth at Manningham Mills in a Friday night game.
