Injury-jinxed Simon Ramsden suffered another blow this morning when he had to pull out of training.

The City defender, who has been limited to just three appearances this season, rejoined his team-mates today with a view to possibly featuring again in one of the remaining games.

But he felt a pain in his thigh again and had to stop.

Peter Jackson said: "Simon's upset because he thought it was cured. It's bad news.

"He's a terrific professional and a really nice lad. It's a really sad day for him."
