Michael Flynn is demanding City pay back their debt to the fans at Valley Parade tonight and insisted: There are no excuses.
With tickets slashed to £1 again, a bumper crowd is expected for the crucial clash with third-from-bottom Burton.
Friday’s 4-0 drubbing at Southend left the Bantams stuck in the mire as this horrible season hit another new low.
And Flynn admitted the supporters deserve much, much better.
He said: “We owe the fans and the club a big performance tonight. We just need to get that win (to be safe) and it’s got to come sooner rather than later.
“We know it’s still in our hands but we can’t keep saying the next game is the big one or the next after that. We need the fans behind us and we need to produce a proper performance for them.
“I could give people 1,000 excuses but the bottom line is that we need to shape up. We’re a team that ain’t doing it at the minute.”
