Relegation-haunted Bradford Dudley Hill breathed a sigh of relief when Wednesday night’s long trip to Wath Brow Hornets was put back to later in the season, leaving them fresh and focused for the journey to National Conference League Premier Division joint leaders Thatto Heath Crusaders on Saturday.
Hill will be seeking to cause an upset after losing out 28-20 in the Parry Lane encounter - a game they should have won.
West Bowling's long-serving centre Martin Tordoff will miss the rest of the Division Two campaign following a knee injury.
Coach Ricky Helliwell drafts Sha Basha and Sam Whitehouse back into the line-up to face promotion chasers Castleford Lock Lane, confident his charges can come away with the spoils “We would have won last week at Eastmoor until injuries reduced us to 12 men,” said Helliwell, adding “Lock Lane beat us easily 46-8 at Bankfoot but we have improved leaps and bounds since then.”
