Jason Crowe's contract at Leeds United has been cancelled by mutual consent.
The former Northampton Town defender made 27 appearances and scored two goals for Leeds after joining on a free transfer in the summer of 2009. Crowe, 32, hasn't played for the first team this season.
Shortly after today's decision, Leyton Orient snapped up Crowe on a free transfer.
United have allowed Argentine defender Federico Bessone to join Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season, with the Londoners having an option to sign him permanently.
Bessone, 28, joined United last June on a free transfer from Swansea City. He played in the first eight matches of the season but hasn't appeared since.
United have also cancelled the contract of goalkeeper Alan Martin by mutual consent.
Martin, 22, joined the club in August, 2007 from Motherwell for an undisclosed fee.
He has had spells on loan at Barrow and Accrington but hasn’t played for United’s first team.
David Gonzalez, Manchester City’s Colombian international goalkeeper, has joined United on loan until the end of the season.
Gonzalez, 28, hasn’t played for City’s first team but he had a wealth of experience before coming to this country.
He will compete with Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs for the number one goalkeeping spot at Elland Road.
