Unbeaten Oakwell left it late to edge out lowly Quarry 3-2 and move two points clear at the top of the Spen Valley League PREMIER DIVISION.
Second-bottom Quarry looked set to pick up a welcome point but Oakwell managed to find a winning goal.
Strikes by Johnny Beverley, Joe Hallas and Lee Carter outweighed those of Damion Auty and Mathew Parkinson.
Thornhill United trailed bottom side George Healey 1-0 at the interval after a John Brooke goal but hit back to win 3-1 thanks to Tristran Kennedy’s hat-trick.
Third-placed Ravensthorpe Rangers surged 4-0 up by the interval but opponents Youth 2000 did well to pull back to 4-2 by the end.
R Waqad and M Adams responded to the first-half goals from Mjamadou (2), Fessy and Kappi.
DIVISION ONE top two Fairbank United and Park were not in action but chasing pair Inter Batley and Marsh cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw.
Marsh led at half-time through a Mark Mullins goal but Azher Laher bagged an equaliser.
Oakwell Reserves did manage to close the gap, climbing to fourth place with a 3-2 win against ALC.
Richard McCann (2) and Carl McCann did the damage, with Nazraan Khan netting both replies.
Bottom side Howden Clough lost 2-0 to Savile Town Athletic, who gained a first win after their opponents had two men sent off.
Norfolk had Jaz Qadri and Zaffran Khan on target in a 202 draw with Stithy.
