Farsley’s game at home to Hall Road Rangers in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division fell victim to the freezing weather.
Following a pitch inspection at 11.15am on Saturday, the game was given the go-ahead. But a subsequent inspection by the match referee at around 2pm prevented the match from taking place.
That call cost the Throstle Nest outfit the leadership, because second-placed Park-gate won 2-0 at Arnold Town to be the first club to reach the 50-point mark for the season.
It was one of only three games in the division to be played and sees Parkgate at the summit with two games in hand.
