Leeds United left back Aidan White has rejoined Oldham on loan until the end of the season.
White, 19, who attended St Mary’s School in Menston, made five appearances on loan at Boundary Park from the middle of November until January 1 and has left the bench four times for Leeds this season.
George McCartney’s ret-urn to Elland Road on loan from Sunderland until the end of the campaign and Ben Parker’s recovery from long-term injuries have reduced White’s prospects of first-team football at Leeds.
If Oldham qualify for the play-offs, White will be allowed to take part.
United are still trying to find an English club for striker Mike Grella to join on loan after Motherwell were prevented from taking him by the Scottish FA because he had played for two English clubs this season – Leeds and Carlisle.
The date of United’s home game against Nottingham Forest is in doubt and ticket sales for the match have been suspended pending a decision.
The fixture was originally due to take place on Sat-urday, April 2 (3pm) but was moved to Friday, April 1 (7.45pm) for televising by the BBC.
However, the broadcaster then informed both clubs the time slot was no longer available and discussions regarding the date and time of the game are on-going.
Work on improving Elland Road’s East Stand means the upper tier will be closed for the rest of the season.
United, who have no game this weekend after their elimination from the FA Cup, return to action at Hull City on Tuesday night.
