Silsden make the short trip to Barnoldswick Town tomorrow for what would be only their second game of 2011.
Following two Vodkat League postponements against clubs below them in the Premier Division, the Cobbydalers find themselves heading for an away fixture against a side still in the promotion hunt.
Barnoldswick are seventh with exactly twice as many points on the board as their visitors, while Silsden are fourth from bottom and glancing over their shoulders at the drop zone.
Manager Chris Reape is still on a recruitment drive as he seeks to bolster his squad and now just wants games after the nightmarish unscheduled mid-winter break.
He set his sights on building on the unbeaten start to the year but, since their draw at basement outfit Rossendale United on January 3, they have been thwarted.
A trip to Formby and last Saturday’s home game against Ashton Athletic, the other two clubs currently below Silsden, were both victims of the weather.
Barnoldswick were also frustrated last weekend so there should be no disparity in terms of match fitness.
