But Kitchen completed his hat-trick and further goals by Lee Glen and Dale Dunn set up extra time and although this produced no more goals, Prince then held their nerve in the shoot-out to set up a trip to Westwood Park in the next round.
Buttershaw White Star hit the goal trail in the fourth round with a 7-2 win at Dudley Hill Rangers, in which John Selby hit a hat-trick and Graham Sides bagged a brace.
Ventus Sports also had no problem as they saw off Stock Lane Rangers 8-1, with Ben Hardy hitting four goals and Andy Philp a couple.
A much-delayed second-round tie ended with West Bowling easing past hosts Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves 3-1 after setting up the win with two goals in the opening five minutes.
Whitburn Athletic progressed to the fourth round of the BRADFORD & DISTRICT FA SUNDAY CUP with a 2-0 home victory over Undercliffe thanks to goals by Waqas Ali and Stephen Grant.
Stanningley Albion emerged 6-0 winners at Nab Wood after a slow start courtesy of Liam Sanderson (penalty), Andy Kenyon (2), Jordan Smith, Adam Jarrett and Luke Hunter.
PREMIER DIVISION leaders Bolton Woods were unable to take advantage of their closest rivals being in cup action as they suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat to lowly Oakenshaw.
A goal by Ricky Burnett proved decisive as Oakenshaw climbed off the foot of the table, with goalkeeper Darryl Crowley in excellent form.
One other top-flight game saw Queensbury overwhelm hosts Clayton Orient 7-2.
DIVISION ONE pacesetters Mill Lane crushed rock-bottom visitors Gaping Goose 8-1, with David Pemberton and Danny Harrison both getting doubles.
Wyke Wanderers remain second after a 6-2 victory at White Eagles, with Reece Harbon hitting a hat-trick.
Cuedos Rangers climbed above opponents George Hotel into third spot with a 3-2 home win thanks to goals by Chris Dunn, Ben Oliver and Mathew Penn.
Shipley Hockney dropped their first DIVISION 1A points of the season when they shared two goals at third-placed Thornton United, with Danny Walker on target for the hosts and Danny Mathers replying.
Tyersal moved into promotion contention with a 6-3 home victory over neighbours Thornbury Celtic, with new signing Terence Oddy and Jamie McKewan netting twice apiece.
Jack Barker’s hat-trick enabled Thornbury Quarry Gap to hit back from 3-2 down with ten minutes left to beat bottom side Woodman Rovers 5-3 in DIVISION 1B.
Danny Hook also hit a treble for unbeaten leaders Sandy Lane as they sank promotion hopefuls FC George 7-0.
Two more hat-tricks by Oliver Serrant and Chris Caton enabled second-placed Fleece to demolish Saltaire Rangers 8-0, while Sam Prest went one better with four goals in Wrose Bull’s win against Prospect by the same score.
A Dean Parker hat-trick helped Stocks Lane United edge out Beldon Sports 5-4 in DIVISION 2B. The match was held up for 30 minutes due to an injury to a Stocks Lane player.
Paul Paylor was another man on the treble trail as Oddfellows Athletic beat Bulawayo City Kings 8-2 to move level on points with DIVISION 3A leaders Whitburn Athletic.
Cycling recorded their first victory of the season to climb off the foot of DIVISION 3B as they beat Salthorn WMC 1-0 thanks to Mick Baron’s volley 15 minutes from time.
Paul Grimley bagged a hat-trick as Pudsey Amateurs beat Oddfellows Idle 6-0.
