Kyle Berry scored twice as Salts climbed to the top of DIVISION ONE with a 4-2 home win over Eastmoor in the West Riding County Amateur League.
Previous leaders Emley were involved in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Challenge Cup and Salts took advantage as Berry’s double was backed up by Lee Grice and Luke Lavery. Lee Pashley netted both replies.
Emley dropped to third place as Littletown also moved above them with a 5-3 win at home to bottom side Tyersal Reserves.
Jordan Maltas and Lee McKeown netted doubles, with Craig Bentley completing the tally, while Anthony Busfield, Darren Archer and Arron Smith responded.
Ventus/Yeadon Celtic and Westbrook YMCA remain fourth and fifth respectively after comfortable victories.

The other Division Two sides in the competition, Storthes Hall Reserves and Morley Town, failed to progress.
Storthes Hall lost 3-2 to White Horse (Church Fenton), while Morley were edged out by 5-3 at home to Huddersfield League side Moldgreen.
Albion Sports must try again in their bid to reach the BRADFORD & DISTRICT FA SATURDAY SENIOR CUP semi-finals as their tie against Campion Reserves was abandoned after 20 minutes due to deteriorating conditions. Albion were 2-0 up at the time.
West Horton, who beat Salts Reserves 3-1, next host Wibsey, while Fields Sports & Social won 3-0 at Old Headingley to set up a clash with Salts. Bradford Park Avenue Reserves saw off Thackley 3-0.
