Bradford Dudley Hill return to National Conference League action when they entertain Premier Division strugglers York Acorn at Parry Lane on Saturday.
Hill’s last outing at Wigan St Judes seems light years away following the enforced mid-winter break.
But they will still fondly remember their impressive win that day when they line up against a York side who posted a 30-12 success against them on home soil.
Acorn have plummeted down the table since that early-season triumph, while Hill have the tools in the locker to go out and gain retribution.
West Bowling has used the time off to recover from a host of injuries and regroup for the vital home clash against Crosfields at the Bankfoot Oval.
Coach Ricky Helliwell is confident of gaining the points on offer to climb out of the bottom three re-election spot.
He said: “Crosfields nicked the game from us away by six points after we led for most of the game. We have trained well and have worked on a few things that should give us the edge this time out.”
