Teenage Hull striker Mark Cullen today joined City on a month’s loan.
The 18-year-old is highly rated by the Tigers and has featured in 17 league games this season, mainly as a substitute.
Cullen scored a prodigious 33 goals in 30 games for the youth team and reserves last term.
He also netted on his full Premier League debut at Wigan in May but his only goal so far this season was in a Carling Cup defeat at Brentford.
Hull have recently snapped up strikers Aaron McLean and Matty Fryatt so they are happy to send out Cullen for some first-team action.
Cullen will replace Jason Price, who has returned to Carlisle at the end of his short-term stay.
City have kept hold of defenders Rob Kiernan and Richard Eckersley, whose loans have both been extended.
