City joint-chairman Mark Lawn remains hopeful that boss Peter Taylor will stay at the Bantams following speculation linking him with a move to Newcastle United.
Lawn confirmed after City's 1-0 win over Bury that the Magpies were interested in the Valley Parade boss becoming Alan Pardew's No 2.
Taylor admitted that "there might be something in it" when asked about the rumour but would not be drawn further, other than to say: "I will discuss that with the correct people."
